Loss Prevention Certification







LPQ
The LPQualified (LPQ) was designed with input from the loss prevention professionals from over 50 of today's leading retail companies. The LPQ course is composed of three modules of 25 sections with curriculum focused on Retail Environment, Becoming a Successful Business Person, and Loss Prevention Basics and Tools. The course is completely online and includes 500 pages of detailed reading as well as 65+ video demonstrations of concepts covered in reading. Each module includes review questions, practical applications and a practice exam at the end of the course.

To become completely certified you must pass the proctored LPQ exam. The exam is separate from the course and is composed of 100 multiple choice questions which has been developed by the exam committee based on content of the LPQ course. The exam is offered during certain time frames throughout the year and at select locations throughout the US.


LPC
The LPCertified (LPC) is a certification that was designed as advanced education for loss prevention management and executives. The LPC course was designed with input from over 300 loss prevention professionals from 130 of today's leading retail and solution provider companies. The LPC course is composed of six modules which includes more than 31 sections and nearly 1,200 pages of curriculum focused on Leadership Principles, Business Principles, LP Operations, Safety & Risk Management, Crisis Management, and Supply Chain Security. The course is delivered online and includes detailed reading as well as video demonstrations of concepts covered in the reading. There are practice review questions throughout the sections, at the end of each module and a practice exam at the end of the course.

In order to receive the LPC designation you must take and pass the LPC exam. The exam was developed by loss prevention professionals and is 200 questions in length. Each question is multiple choice and varies in degree of difficulty. The exam is based off the LPC course and focuses on the above 6 primary topic areas. The exam is offered during certain time frames throughout the year and at select locations throughout the US.
